Will a boss ls2 suck my tone

okay here's what I'm doing I have a Mesa racked out I need to add a third channel for clean channel I'm using a would it line mixer and a chorus pedal a/b switch I like this message because I have a parallel effects loop my question do i need the mixer or would the ls2 be better
