I may go wireless next year. X2 will probably be the route I try 1st. I haven't heard any bad things about them really yet. Sennheiser would be the next I'd look at.

I have a shure wireless. Can't remember which model, but it is in the $700 range. Everytime we gig, I put it in the rack, fire it up, get some hum and noise that pisses me off. Unplug it and and move a couple wires and go back to cable. I hate the damn things and I refuse to use a noise gate just to overcome it.
