Wizard MC vs MTL comparison

I’ll do another video of a boosted mtl to see how aggressive that can get. It’s a tough choice man. I really want to try the hell razor and see what that’s about. Too much good shit! I was real fortunate I got a good deal on Matt’s MC and a real good deal on the MTL.
 
Sounds awesome. I will say that the MC 6L you have is a special amp. One of the better sounding Wizards I’ve owned. It’s the one that turned me on the to 50w models too. They definitely can hang with anything

I really need to do a boosted mtl video too. The main reason I did this way was to hear those differences instead of having them real close. I think in general you can get close to either or however… The MTL does have a bigger low mid girth, and the MC does have more high grind. That’s not to say the MC doesn’t have a huge low end too. Against my monomyth which I love, it fills out a room quite a bit more than the mono with stuff maxed out vs with the bass on 6 on the MC.
 
Great vid man. Since getting an MTL I’ve been gassing for a MCII, but it sounds like I could probably get close with a boost, a nice bump in the mids, and save $4500. What say you, are they different enough to warrant both?

It’s tough man; they’re both incredible at what they do. With a boost it becomes less discernible which is why I did the video the way I did. Both boosted get really close, the mtl has more ass and less grind (although it has plenty) and the mc has less add and more grind (again it has plenty of ass as is).
