Wizard MC25 Intro

How’s the volume level on the MC25, can it be played in my living room at manageable volume, or does it need an attenuator?

If I decide to seek out a used one, should I care if it’s the MCII or not? I understand the 2 has some kind of contour feature but I haven’t heard any clips comparing with and without contour.

MC25 sounds great at moderate to low levels especially with an eq in the loop. I don't think any MC25 has contour and it doesn't need it honestly. I think the MC25 is the best tone all around of all the Wizard models I've had, which is most all of them. It just lacks the girth of the 50 and 100w Wizards but that's not to say its sounds small because its bigger sounding and punches harder than a lot of non Wizard 50 and 100w amps.

They pop up here, on TGP, and on Reverb periodically. Cool amp for sure, I've had three of them and loved it every time.

Killer amp, hangs with any amp there is and I found it great at lower volumes or ear splitting volumes, wish I kept mine (when they were cheap lol)
