Thank the Lord I did not. Had been playing her lately and was thinking this thing aint sounding too great as of late. Decided to turn off the loop volume and wow what a difference. I have to keep it low cause my wife is now here almost always. Turned off the loop volume changed some settings and boosted and unboosted with my rgs and charvels with tonezones it has ridiculous balls and mean as hell and LOUD. I love it!!!

How old is the Splawn? Quickrod?

Mine didnt have any nonsense with the loop.
It was fully loaded and was a newer build.

A friend of mine lent me his Comp 50. I've had it for a few weeks now, and you're right, it is one mean sounding amp. Absolutely glorious Marshal tones. I'm running this one in first gear with gain @ 9 o'clock, noodling on some Zeppelin
