I really don't understand how any natural born American citizen would see a benefit to an open border?

I already pay way too much in taxes. Most of that money is wasted on useless programs. However we have a situation where millions of people have crossed the border illegally. So I have watched that body cam video a number of times. Renee Good didn’t look to be an angry threatening person. This woman was over her head and involved in something, I don’t believe she fully understood. Perhaps her wife, who seemed to be the more aggressive one was influencing her or running the show.

I doubt she was trying to run the ICE officer over. There just isn’t enough evidence to suggest that. However the ICE officer may have felt she was. He sure did act quick to respond. It was almost as if he was positioning himself to shoot if the car tried to move in his direction. I mean his gun was out so fast. With that reaction time he could’ve just as easily moved to his right and avoided the car.

I suppose in the eyes of the law his actions were justified. However I think it could have been avoided. If I was the cop that was standing by the passenger door I would have been pissed. Those shots were fired in his direction and could have easily hit him.

Renee Good made some bad decisions that day. She was married to a lunatic who probably lead her to this spot in time. Both of them were likely influenced by reckless politicians with violent rhetoric that fuels these people and leads ICE agents to be constantly harassed.
