wondering what anyone thinks of this lil switcher

That does look pretty cool. If I still had a shitload of amps I'd be all over that.

I've never used that switcher, but this line from the webpage in the second link you posted made me a little nervous:

Connected tube amps are protected by short-circuiting the speaker output when they are not connected to a speaker enclosure. This option can be turned off with a switch on the back of the Amp Switch. Connected amps with high “Gain” and “Volume” settings are thus protected from damage.

Have a look through this thread:

I've had my Ampete for a while now and it's been flawless.
Recommended and used by Dave Friedman - what else do you need to know....
It's probably a little more expensive than the unit you are looking at, but quality cost $$, and frying one or more of your amps will cost you waaaayyyy mor than the difference in price.

The Ampete is like 3x the price BUT Ampete is pretty well regarded. I am looking at the Kahayan equivalent but it doesn't have a global effects loop which is kind of a bummer.

Yeah, I know they're pricey.
Like I said in the thread I linked to, I don't think this is an area where you want to cut any corners to save a few bucks. I've got $12k in amps connected to my Ampete, and I sleep like a baby
YMMV

Might be a better deal for the OP as Ampete is in Germany, and diezelduder looks like he might be in the EU.

i guess i should be clear, i have posted a couple of these look at this particular switcher etc posts

i realize that ampete is the best in the game, i'm showing light on other options people may be interested in

plus i like when people read through all the details on whatever i post and show me exactly why this gear is probably not as good as ampete etc

love that, shows me what to look for and helps me understand what is good etc in any switcher

also i'm sure there's already some other thread but these are new from mesa
