Been looking for one for awhile, but didn't want to pay stupid prices for one. Found a reasonable one today... should be here by the end of the week. I've never had anything that would quite do the Rockman Chorus sound, should help my Boston covers go over and heck, they just sound cool.

Cool...those sound great. I have the Delay/Chorus and Sustainor in my toybox...I really need to put them up in the classifieds as I never use them anymore.

Absolutely love that chorus. Any plans to post clips?

Yup, I'll have to break out another Boston track with the Kemper ;)

The Music Go Round in Columbus on Bethel Road had about 8 different Rockman units in there this past Friday. A couple sustainers, chorus, delays, and some others. FYI.

That's where I bought it! Guy I talked to said they sold almost all of them today. Also claimed someone accused them of robbing Boston. :)

Sweet. Small world. I used to live in Cbus but only hit that MGR about twice a year these days.

I've always heard the killer setting on those Rockman Choruses is the 'stop sweep' switch, which gives you kinda a poor man's Eventide microshift. Almost like an old H910 on that .99 setting.

i was in mgr tonight and there were a bunch left, i got the 2 midi octopus they had for 99 bucks each

The XPR also has the chorus built in with the sweep stop.the cool thing about all the Rockman modules is they're analog...love the delay too! Now...who out there will make me a hyperspace pedal? :)

Loves me some...

Mine does not have a Stop Sweep switch. Just a Sweep Speed slider control that goes from 1Hz down to 0.25Hz.

The stop sweep is footswitchable I think, there's isn't a physical switch on the front.

Yes...sweep stop is foot switchable on all Rockman chorus modules and even cooler its presettable on the xpr :)

There's what looks to be a Sustainor 200 up for sale for a reasonable price.

I still contend ROCKMAN is some of the best gear ever, but if you DON'T want to sound like Boston the secret is that you have to EQ the heck out of it. Do it right and you can get some great rock and dare I say even metal tones.

+1111!!! That's right... I used my 2 Rockman heads and 4 cabs in an eightys band and it nailed a lot of it... metal tones are in there and its also very very important to use full range cabs.

when I was first learning about recording about 14 years ago, I found a nice used Rockman Distortion Generator for 20 bucks at a local music Go Round and it was my DI recording device...Forget the POD, the Rockman was it for me, lol.
