No politics.
Just facts. Once all that money goes into circulation, it stays in circulation. The high prices that resulted are the new normal.

I was in Guitar Center the other day, and the salesman was try to salesman me. I told him the only thing that I was interested in was an old Marahall 4x12 cab. It's beat up, with holes in the tolex, and they want $650 for it. I offered $500, where it should be priced. Five years ago, that would have been too much even. How is a beat to shit Marshall cab worth $650?

what sucks is GC took away the " barter " ability ....

I remember the days when you could talk a Manager down on price on used gear ...

um well if'in youin know yer history the last 5 yrs the world economy crashed & stopped in 2020 under C19 & the orange asshole.
Has nothing to do with "circulation" you either have money or you don't.
And the orange asshole has crashed wallstreet so bad the last 4 months they don't know how to fix it.

I've found some good deals on a few guitars that I patiently watched for a long time. Things that are not in extreme high demand are selling for less than they were a few years ago. Are there still some delusional sellers? Sure. Just like there are delusional people trying to sell their homes for $300,000 more than 2-3 years ago. Both the housing market and used gear market are trending down.

I paid $699 for a beat up Marshall cab 6 years ago.

Dan is mad no one will trade him gear at 1985 pricing. Dudes got one leg caught in a mess of teased hair, eaten cassette tapes, and charvel headstocks living in the past.

Aside from the fact that you guys constantly fucking whine about bipartisan politics on here all day, I agree that guitars are ridiculously slexpensive. Why are PRS wood libraries $7k and some custom les pauls $7k? I just can't justify paying that for those guitars anymore. It isn't worth it
