Old ones, yes. New beat up cabs give off "professionally relic'ed" vibes.I thought old beat up Marshall cabs are the one's you want![]()
Certain people scoop those up with glee. Paging @SmuggNorris . Dude loves his private reserves.Aside from the fact that you guys constantly fucking whine about bipartisan politics on here all day, I agree that guitars are ridiculously slexpensive. Why are PRS wood libraries $7k and some custom les pauls $7k? I just can't justify paying that for those guitars anymore. It isn't worth it

Thankfully President Trump is bringing inflation down ^_^Yeah. Biden's inflation is still in circulation. Everything costs more now.
This and they got rid of layaway....... with Zzounds and MF nvm SweetWater or American Music Supply......what sucks is GC took away the " barter " ability ....
I remember the days when you could talk a Manager down on price on used gear ...
Beat up Marshall cabs sound better than pretty onesI thought old beat up Marshall cabs are the one's you want![]()
Why did you post a screenshot from an article published 2 years ago?
I don't go to a music store for " help " ....... if I'm bothering to make an actual visit to a store vs shopping online .... I know exactly what I want ..... I've already researched the shit out of it .... the only help I need is usually ...." hey can you get me a cord "This and they got rid of layaway....... with Zzounds and MF nvm SweetWater or American Music Supply......
Why even shop at Guitar Center...... nvm the salesmen now really are more useless than shoe salesmen from the 90s or a Circuit City...... it used to be at least around here the dudes knew about gear.... now sales dudes at GC can't even figure out a simple pedal station or how to work basic cables..... Generation D- at its worst![]()
I looked up inflation for month of May...... yeah didn't catch that was 2 years ago......Why did you post a screenshot from an article published 2 years ago?
Right on well........ keep going there......I don't go to a music store for " help " ....... if I'm bothering to make an actual visit to a store vs shopping online .... I know exactly what I want ..... I've already researched the shit out of it .... the only help I need is usually ...." hey can you get me a cord "
and a no questions asked .... 45 day trial on anything you want to buy
that's why I'll keep going there
layaway ???? I haven't heard that term since my Mom used it in the 70'sRight on well........ keep going there......
It just isn't what it used to be and well with online now it just makes less and less sense especially with 0% interest rates and no credit check in some places nevermind they send you the gear before even fully paying for it like Zzounds
GC doesn't even have layaway..... why the hell would anyone shop there again vs online like SweetWater, Zzounds or AMS etc etc.
Anyways as said with 0% interest rates and financing online and/or no credit checks either........layaway ???? I haven't heard that term since my Mom used it in the 70's
two asshole dumbasses of different flavors driving the same car, same outcome. We're all getting played. It's not Republican vs Democrat, it's Rich vs Poor, and we ain't rich.I don't think anything is going lower as far as prices, no matter which clown is driving the car. Prices like this are the new norm.
I remember using layaway. The old "put down $50 so that they don't sell it to anyone else" trick. That's how I bought my first Tobias bass. I snagged it as soon as I saw it. People were standing there waiting for me to put it down.layaway ???? I haven't heard that term since my Mom used it in the 70's
It’s not rich v poor. It’s Uber rich vs working class.two asshole dumbasses of different flavors driving the same car, same outcome. We're all getting played. It's not Republican vs Democrat, it's Rich vs Poor, and we ain't rich.
I vaguely remembering them having that option .... like in the 90'sI remember using layaway. The old "put down $50 so that they don't sell it to anyone else" trick. That's how I bought my first Tobias bass. I snagged it as soon as I saw it. People were standing there waiting for me to put it down.
I still have that bass, too. It's in shambles and needs put back together. It's a Toby Pro that was made in Japan just before Gibson bought Tobias and ruined the Toby Pro line. It has the Tobias neck profile, and not the Epiphone neck.
