My Husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this year and I'm torn between gifting the two major things he's been after and could use some guidance.

1. Everything he needs to finish his Toyota FJ40 project he's been working on for some years. (found his parts wishlist) or
2. The final guitar (until new ones are released, haha) of his all black Gibson collection and a goth themed lingerie/stripper party (the second part is mostly for me, :devilish:).

I'm being serious, fyi. Thanks!

Goth themed lingerie party seems pretty fun to me. My wife doesn't have any girl friends these days and most of them when we first started dating again were trouble. I actually turned down a threesome with her and her Latina friend that had ridiculously large bolt ons that she offered for Xmas one year. Just more trouble than it's worth although had I not had my fun in my younger days I would probably jumped at the chance.

But then again if he has been working on a project for years and you helped him complete by surprise that would mean more to me.

This is true. 20 years ago I played arpeggios at 300+BPM. 20 years from now it will have been over 9000.

I've decided on the guitar, party, a winch and a wench or two. But all I'm saying is how in the hell are you going to make two "the black limited edition Les Paul with grey pearloid inlays on that fake ebony shit that came out last Halloween at GC"?! There's two! A Studio and a Special. I can't ask him which one, that's too obvious. That also means that one is not going to complete the set! WTFunk do I do?!!! Find out next week on...

Jk, I knew exactly what to do:

Minty fresh used, Ladies and Djentlemen. The dice roll paid off buying these online. Both are pretty much without flaws, and could pass as new with great setups and fretwork along with the leatherette bags and candy. I've had "new" Gibsons show up in worse shape, tbh. Except the Dark has a KHBB kit installed instead of the 57s and coil splitting. So, yeah. He can put whatever he wants in it, I did my part. Now to stow them away until August so they can buzz a bit when he opens "it." Give him something to setup in the garage while I set up in the house.

And they all lived happily ever after.
The end.
