That one in particular really doesn't have that great a top for THAT price. And he can suck it for that shipping price.

I've seen some PRS guitars that cost under $1500 with better tops.

Take a look at some Suhr's or Anderson's for some really sick tops, like this Anderson Cobra.

Guitar is still overpriced at opening bid though.
 
yeah Im also not seeing it. nice guitar yes. sure. but I dont see the justification for the price. I like danyeos anderson better.

That guy is seriously fooling himself if he thinks he's even going to get half of what he's asking. Are you kidding me!?!? My old 24 had a braz board too. I guess I should have tryed to get a couple grand more :loco:

so how much would you give the guy for that guitar setting aside that yeah he does come off a bit like a tool. I would say about $2000 - $2500 if it was selling here (Japan)
 
Mines a 20th Anny 22, and I didn't pay that much for her new....I also think mine has a nicer flame/quilt, or as I call it, "Flilt"

This is one of the reasons people hate PRS because of people who have auctions with ridiculous prices for features that are common on production line models.

And only three Ambers made that year? :thumbsdown: :doh:
 
Yeah, nothing is custom about it really. Braz board is an upcharge, but tons of them out there. Otherwise that is a stock guitar with non-stock pickups. The top is ok, there are MUCH better for alot cheaper.

All of them except the Modern Eagle are cheaper new and more than 1/2 are more "custom" than the ebay listing.
PRS is putting out too much volume to get awesome tops on every guitar. Suhr and Anderson are putting out stellar tops that PRS only would use on special runs and private stock nowdays.
 
Whats funny is their "10 top" or even private stock doesn't really compare to what Suhr has. I haven't seen a quilt I liked more on the PRS.
