X2 Wireless not transmitting :(

i lost my transmitter at last week's gig
so i got another one off ebay.
Only thing is.. the transmitter won't send the signal to my receiver :?
i have them on the same channel etc.

The receiver works fine (i tested it with my other guitarist's unit)
and the new transmitter picks up my guitar signal ok.
but it just won't send signal to my reciever for some reason

anyone know why this might be the case?
all other units were bought in australia, this transmitter was bought from USA... maybe different frequencies? (i didn't think it would make a difference)

I'd say the difference in where you bought it is the culprit. I've always heard that US wireless' would not work overseas and vice versa.

Are you sure you bought an XDT1 transmitter? The XDT4 looks almost identical.

yep definately got the XDT4

we have 3 X2's in the band and i trouble shooted using everyone else's gear.
My cable works fine, my receiver works fine.
The transmitter picks up my guitar signal, it just doesn't pass it onto the receiver (and yes both are on the same channel)

That's your problem than...I don't think you can use an XDT4 transmitter with an XDR1 receiver without setting up the transmitter. I forget how to do it...something about holding down a button while powering it on. It's in the manual for the XDR95.

SHIT!! sorry i meant to say i bought the XDT1

i checked the manual and it doesn't seem to say anything about switching modes etc.

edit: i'll check the XDR95. manual
