Fair enough. I'd have to ask you for the book, chapter, and verse for the claim that the bible advises against living in a large city, no offense intended. I've never heard that. I will say that the bible says that after he murdered his brother Abel, Cain became a builder of cities because the ground would no longer yield it's strength to him. Genesis 4 12
I will absolutely find that and share it with you, just give me a bit, I shouldn't even be here, as I have something I am supposed to be working on Lol I teach Biblical Hebrew, Paleo Hebrew, among other languages tied to Biblical/Semitic manuscripts. If you look, he (God) constantly takes people to the wilderness to focus, whether it be all of Israel, singular prophets, or Jesus. He advises against living in large areas on top of one another, (which is an interesting description), with no land to grow your own food.

If you ever want to know how depraved the Paleo Hebrews were (at times) just read the book of Judges.

Having said that it echos society today so not saying we've moved forward much if at all.

Fallen man was... Fallen man is.

Humans are humans and do the same things over and over. Completely agree there.

Paleo Hebrew is basically a type of 'street name' for a script. I know that it is also tied to a time period and a certain people but the truth is that many cultures and different 'people' would use the script, so I disconnect it from specific beliefs, if that makes sense.

Hey, I will have to take time to go through to find the verse specifically against warning against cities and not having tyour own land to grow food, but i will. Probably in th warnings of having a king over you. They'll take your sons and daughters, etc. Please DO check this out though, as it will show you the root of the word city, which is tied to wickedness. Probably due to it being a 'bed' for it, basically. Also, I think of rope as the single coming together into many to become one, and when you think of that with the head of man, it clicks that it is many men coming together, but also ties to having a twisted mind. Anywho, sorry to steer this so far away. LINK: https://www.ancient-hebrew.org/ancient-alphabet/changes-in-the-hebrew-alphabet.htm
