Cashing in on the Marshall in the box craze, looks like the guys at xotic took a page from the catalinbred folks and released a pedal that is superlead/superbass in one pedal. Sounds pretty good in the clips but i'm pretty sure i'd stay more satisfied with the real thing..

WTF with all the marshall-esque pedals

next to CM plexitone , I prefer a Marshall MIG 100
for acurate JCM tones

I still use my MIG100 as a JCM-type pedal

Hell, you can get a marshall MIG50/100 for the price of some of these pedals

Just wait for a Pete Thorn demo.. he makes everything sound good so it won't be long before people are getting on waiting lists for one of these.

Just wait for the Cameron line of Modded Marshall Overdrive pedals   An Aldrich, Jose, and CCV in a box. :hys:

Can anyone explain what the Marshall tone is these days?

Not Mesa ?

But some of the more metal modded Marshall's just like similar to a MKIIC to me.

I had a really hot rodded Marshall....was just smoking in the tone dept. Sounded like Metallica Ride the lightning tone.
I put it on top of my Dual recto....and turned the gain back to about 2 on the lead channel of the recto...
and it sounded DEAD ON to the Marshall with the gain near max.
I tried the A/B test several times with 4 other people in the room and they all agreed. ;)

I then turned the gain up to noon on the Mesa and it sent the Marshall walking down the road crying.

Oh well....different strokes. :D
