Xotic EP Booster or Suhr Koko Boost

I´m in the market for a pedal i could use to boost my Friedman BE 100 and have heard great things about the Xotic EP Booster and the Suhr Koko Boost. which one would you choose and why?

Read my thread a couple of posts down. I've never tried the EP Booster, so I can't really compare the two. Funny I was just playing my Friedman modded Marshall yesterday with the Koko (it's always there) with the BE and Saturation switch, talk about a classic metal tone

Koko. I have both and the Koko wins out, IMO. I think the EP can get gainier, but it can also add more bass and can get woofy. It also does something to the highs that is a little weird. Not at all a bad pedal though, but between the it and the Koko, Koko all the way.

I didn't like the EP.. made everything thicker and added that xotic color which i have learned that I do not like..

Personally, I like the Badgerplex Pre over the Exotic EP for that kind of thing. I love how it pushes the PLEX channel of my Cherry Bomb just enough. Not leaving my board! With a Badgerplex Pre up front and an El Capistan in the loop, it is virtually identical to the EP-3s I've played through... It gives this incredible chimey tone with a bit of push that is great for low-mid gain tones...

I also have a Koko Boost on my board as well and it is KILLER! I like the mid-boost for some things, but mostly prefer the plain boost. It can turn the PLEX channel of the Cherry Bomb into a fire breathing monster and in front of the ROD channel it provides insane gain.

For what I like to play, I don't really need the boosts with the Cherry Bomb as switching between the channels and modes gives me everything I need, but it is fun to have them sometimes and I like to use them with my other amps a lot.

I have had both .The Ep is cool but it really adds bottom and there are a couple of switches inside the pedal to take the boost feature off and tame the highs if you wish. The KoKo is also great as a boost or fine tune mids. But do you really need ethier if you own a BE100. From what I've heard they sound great without !

Hello. I have both as well and prefer the Koko over the EP. Oddly enough in recordings it seems to do something to the frequencies so the guitar gets lost in mix particularly for single note stuff. Just my opinion. Koko is great and the mid boost is so flexible....

I can't believe this LP dude boosts everything at times and even Friedman's jeesh,
gonna have to add him to the ignore list on here

Koko is a really good boost but have never tried the EP booster so can't comment on comparisons favoring either.
