Yeah, but honestly why?

The amp was already in design stage long before he was fired by Mesa. I don't think he was a consultant for the design of this amp. I don't think he was involved in any way regarding the amp, apart maybe with the marketing department recently. His videos can be ignored altogether. No big deal.

Good. So he’s just lying then to seem important. I’ve watched maybe 3 of his videos ever. And when I say watched, skipped through. For some reason this was the first modded 1959 and it appeared in my timeline

I don’t even want to bag him out. He’s not my style or tone at all. I’m glad some people like what he does. We all have different taste.

Off the top of my head guys that have used modded Marshalls and would make good consultants: Steve Vai, Dino Cazares.

Guys not to consult: Fluff, Rabea.
 
No, he's not lying, just giving his own "alternate" truth or just embellishing the story if you prefer. He was "involved"... Maybe "at a later stage"... Maybe he suggested something but it sadly wasn't taken in account because the whole thing was already totally finished and in full production in the vietnamese factory but was told it would have been considered if it had been in time etc. But he didn't go that deep into the gory details of the whole process. So yeah, he was involved LOL

In any case, he didn't play anything worthy of underlining the qualities of the amp in his video, just generic 90s alt-punk-metal riffing. I think it's safe to say he can be ignored on anything modded Marshall related.

I regret watching it. Somehow the amp tones sounded exactly as I imagined he would make it sound.

The weirdest thing is people on this forum getting all defensive of him because he used to post here. Why doesn’t he anymore? Because he wasn’t your friend or anything guys.
