Traded my UNBELIEVABLY LOUD Quick Rod today. Sad to see it go, but what showed up in its place is pretty nice...
Minty Splawn Competition. Sounds even better than the QR. It snarls just a tad less, and has a little "bounce" to it - a tad more forgiving. Amazing amp! Thanks to Bantam Menace for the hook up!
Oh - and if you want an AWESOME Quick Rod, Music Go Round in Roseville, MN...get it!!
Along with that, I also have the best wife in the world. I recently picked up a couple Ibanez K7's ( viewtopic.php?f=3&t=98902 ), and so I was singing praise to them, and told my wife how cool it would be to have the third in the series. I found one on GC.com, and started tormenting her with it - jokingly. It was in NJ, so I told sent her an email "from the guitar" telling how much he hated Jersey, people with tanning bed crud touching him, funny hair, orange skin, stupid fat chicks that think they're hot etc... She got a laugh out of it. I got home from work and she called me.
"It's on the way."

Anyway, here's my newest addition to the Korn collection - an Ibanez Apex Custom 7 string - Munky signature:
It's like new...looks barely played. It came with the nice J-Craft case, the U-bar, and all the other goodies. Can't wait to get it set up and raging!
