I was waiting to hear about the YJM signature underwear but I guess he will wait until after NAMM to make that announcement :D
 
he can be offputting at times..but i'd be a liar if i said i can't name him among my influences...as weak as my skills are at that, anyways...

he seemed pretty upbeat and willing to talk here, i give him props for that. he obviously knows his gear and i like that he was willing to talk to her, and not talk down to her. i appreciate also, that he seems pretty tolerant in this video of questions that he probably has gotten a trillion times since 198?whatever!
anyone else notice the BLS shirt on the rack behind his axes? :)
all in all, a good watch.

When the Yngwie signature pirate shirts come out you KNOW I am down for a least a 1/2 dozen. The sad part is that I am not kidding.

My guess is that everything on his Bradshaw switcher board is already dialed in to the effects and his DOD, which you can see off to the corner on that tray. The boost is excatly the same inside the amp as having the DOD 250 in front, so probably not having to use two boards on stage band keeping it his standard set up. He did mention depending on venue...i think for like the clinics he would does he would just use the internal feature. I saw this tour and he was louder than sin and the 75's have more of a cleaner sound than what he had years ago. I still prefer his old tones and think the older strats sound better.

I'll say this for YJ...unlike some other endorsement whores I get the impression that he feels truly honored to have a sig strat and Marshall.
 
He uses a 1.5mm pick and .008-.048 strings tuned down a half step (including a dropped C# axe) ?
