Sweet, how do you like the Dimarzios compaired to the Duncans?

I didn't like the Dimarzios mostly because the output was so low. They are less output than a typical Fender single coil PU. It didn't bother me on the neck and middle PU so much, but the bridge PU had nothing. It was hard to get a good balance between the 3 PU's.
When I listen to recordings I made with them however, they sounded good.

I like that the Duncans have more output and the bridge position is a bit hotter.

I was listening to the 1st few minutes which sounded great, awesome cleans to some grit, but jumped to the vibe vid as IMO that is your sweet zone playing wise. You really make a vibe come alive.

Great tones and playing

Sweetsound Ultra Vibe II. Used my CS Robin Trower sig Strat. Tuned to D. Hit a Maxon 808 from time to time

Great clip and chops Carl.

Thanks for listening. The Olympus cam is great. The playing? I only hear my mistakes

Good sound though to make future pedal demos and maybe show some licks

I'd like to hear you demo the Drybell vibe.

I got a few, not the Drybell though. Got the Sweetsound Ultra Vibe II, Fulltone MDV 2, Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe+, and coming soon the Supra Vibe from the UK

I've got the Ultra Vibe II as well as the original copper/brown colored Deja Vibe. Both sound good. I think the DV might be a little better with humbuckers.

Did you ever get a chance to compare a regular LS100 to the M model?

No, I only saw tons of demo vids or the LS100 on YT. It's a great sounding amp. I was keeping my eye on the Landry stuff and then last year Bill introduced the M model. He had a special Xmas deal for the first 5 buyers and I snagged #1 of the M model. i asked if he could use 6550's instead of 6L6's and he did.
6550's cause I haven't had an amp with them in ages and they remind me of the first Marshall MV amps that came out in '75, loaded with 6550's.

The Landry has what I call a hidden feature. When you dime the first lead mode's gain, especially with humbuckers, you get this cool compressed pick attack/ Dumble type response. Back off the gain to 3:00 it goes away. really cool.

If I ever get around to getting camera, Ill make a Dry Bell Vid when I can get around to getting that LOL. Ive got a Mojovibe which is my current fave as well as an Ultra II and a half space rack Vibe that Bob made for me. I dont really use them but I just cant get rid of them because Bob was a friend and he gave them to me.

Carl, why did you get rid of the Megavibe? I know that you told me but I forgot..

Because the builder Kevin Randall was a quack, and idiot savant. The guy turned on me like a rabid dog for no reason. I sold all his stuff off for a profit and never looked back.

I had the Mega Vibe, plus he gave me a prototype Jax (extra Trem function) his wah and fuzzes.
I helped him R&D The Fuzz for a few months too. Guy was a quack.

I'm looking foward to the Supra-Vibe. It will be about 3 months wait this Aug so I'll be getting it soon.

I had a large Megavibe that while it sounded great, there was a noticeable slight volume drop when it was kicked on. I also flipped it for $100 more than I paid. The Ultra Vibe II definitely made up for it though.
The Drybell would be a welcome addition to my board strictly due to a lack of real estate. I could ditch one of my other vibe pedals, use the Drybell, and still have room left for something other pedal in the future.

Well,,,Carl!! How go`s it You seem to have mellowed with old age.

How have you been? I'm ok. Not into arguing anymore. Guess it's sign of old age. Late last year I lost 3 old friends within a 2 month period. Gives a whole different perspective on things.

Brother, I will consider the hatchet buried! Good to see you, and dare I say,,,you bin practicin'!

Yeah, I got the Neuropathy in both feet, so I got balance issues. Sucks getting old. Can't wait to do more w/ the new Zoom Q2HD camera. Initials tests are good.
