You can only have 1 channel of 1 amp...

Well since my amp is a hand-made SLO rip off, I'll say the lead channel of a SLO.

Mark IIC+ overdrive
There it is.

Bleh it sounds like a bee in a jar that OD'd on estrogen, and is pretty squishy to boot! ;) While I can have sentimental reasons to like the sound of a IIC+, to me it's much more of a collector/cork sniffer's amp than a player's amp. ;) They do sound good, but there are a taint load of amps that do the same thing a Mark IIC+ is supposed to be the best at, yet sound better and are cheaper than the original IMO. You know I love you though right buddy? ;)

Funny, that's what I have now.... So the dirty channel on my JCM 900. haha

I've owned a few IIC+ amps and IMHO I haven't played any other amp that touches it for leads. I had a Herbert and a IIC+ for a week and at the end of the week I wasn't playing the Herbert. Herbert was nice with more versatility, but there IS a certain something about a good IIC+. Mark III can get close.

Tough. I wanna say VH4 Ch3 just because it's a thing of legend, but Ch2 on the VH4 is killer, much less compressed & more versatile imo. I'd say that Ch2 is my favorite channel on the amp currently & has been for a fair while now.

It's a tough question. There are so many great amps & channels that suit certain applications. I've gone with VH4 Ch2 just because it's a solid platform & I can both clean it up & overdrive it.

Holy fuck this thread is full of win guys, almost spit my tea all over my monitor!   :D

My pic is the modern red channel of a Rev C recto, just all sorts of viciousness with clarity to boot.

Xtc 101b blue channel.

If bogner made that into a one channel amp it would be killer.

Some great minimalism going on here, cats. Keep 'em coming

VHT/Fryette Deliverance's only channel can do everything for me

Fryette Ultra Lead Red Channel... Nothing else I've heard beats it... I'm sure I'll eventually find something else though... Don't we all?

F*cking A! This right here. Can go from mild to Wylde without a boost.
