I had purchased an Analogman Bi-chorus. I liked it ok, but it is not the BOSS CE-2.
Then I had recently sold my ‘83 BOSS CE-2. I liked the sound…
You really hit the nail on the head. Tone wise, sounds just like that old CE-2. But with the depth toggle and mix knob, this pedal is so versatile!
Dr. Scientist Reverberator with blend knob, Diamond Memory Lane Jr blend knob, and this CE Mod chorus, I like it light, kinda in background if that makes sense.
It sounds great! Liking that depth switch down, kinda sounds deeper, either way the depth knob at 11 o’clock. Rate around 10-11oclock.
Mix knob is everything!

Glad you like it ! and I agree it's very versatile ......
If it helps ..... the normal range of the depth ( stock ) for the CE-2 doesn't go as deep as it can .... if I remember right ... it's about 70 % of what the circuit is capable of ..
when you have the toggle down ( Mod ) it brings the depth to it's maximum potential ....
