It's 2011, you walk into the local music store and come out with copies of Van Halens 1984 and Dio's Dream Evil. I think I now have every VH studio album and most of RJDs albums since his Rainbow days including 3 live CDs.

1984...love that album

From radio play everyone knows....
Jump, Panama, Hot For Teacher and I'll Wait.

But the best songs on the album are...
Girl Gone Bad, House Of Pain, Top Jimmy and Drop Dead Legs. :D

One of my top 3 favorite VH songs of all time. The outro jam is my favorite VH moment.

I can still remember how awesome it felt buying Dream Evil back around 87 or so.....I'm old, bad memory for dates....right around the Donington Monsters of Rock dates anyway...totally rocked! \m/

Wow, you still have a local music store? They even closed down the 2 borders around here.

Everytime I hear anything off of "Dream Evil" it reminds me of hanging out with Robert Keeley. His mom picked us up from high school and cranked "Night People" in the car. Then we jammed on some guitars and finished the night off with some waffles or pancakes. :)

i love Dream Evil!!!!!!!!

i went the mall tonite and picked up the Sanctuary Records reissue of Motorhead's Ace of Spades.

the 80s had great music.so glad i'm not young now and learning guitar to what is considered Rock n Roll nowadays.

(hmmm,my parents and older friends said the same to me in the 80s)
