Yeah, people do that. I found an Omega 4x12 sort of local to me and the guy wanted almost full retail price for it. I offered him fair market value based on what the most recent ones sold for and he got offended and said he doesn't tolerate "low ballers". Oh well. I don't tolerate "high ballers".

I had a local Craigslist ad about 10 years ago I had offered fai market value and the dude sent back a nasty reply calling me a cheap fucker. He also somehow managed to send me his own link to control the posting. It became a Looking for huge cock in my ass ad. And his number was plainly in the ad ao I bet he had fun.
