With a few dozen amps and cabs at the workshop now it's probably time for a good switching solution. We had some vague plans about building our own, but after years of talk I think a commercial product is the way to go.

Anyone had success with KHE, or maybe Ampete? 8 amps / 4 cabs minimum, but 16+8 would probably be better.

Ampete user here as well.
I'm running the 444. Highly recommended (y)
4 amps into 4 cabs ,plus it can switch your loop FX chain between amps when you switch amps. Killer feature.
Fantastic piece of gear, and total piece of mind with thousands of $$ worth of amps connected to it.
Download and read the manuals for the various switchers out there, and decide which unit you want to run after you read all the safety notes and cautions about connecting and switching your amps.
Some designs are better than others......
I'd like more amp and cab connections for studio use, but the FX loop switching is a must for me for playing out with a multi-amp rig.
The 88s does eight amps into 8 cabs, and is expandable to 96x96, but the 444 is the biggest unit in the lineup with the FX loop switching.

I have the KHE 8x1 and it is outstanding. I'm running all my amps into an OxBox, and using a Helix Floor to serve as a midi switcher -- which oh by the way the KHE is idiot proof for midi-programing. Customer service was outstanding and super responsive too. Can't recommend KHE enough.

Appreciate it guys - I'll do some more homework but it sounds like both these companies are doing good work.

There was another mob, Kahayan I think. Not sure where but I do remember hearing of possible issues with some of their designs, not too sure.
