Cornford Hellcat, it was definitely the missing link in my rig.

For its the Kemper and the VHT 2/90/2 to play that fucker loud. Sounds krazy good in sterio using a Mesa recto angle and an old Randall 412 B cab.

Used Anderson Pro-Am

My first one. they are as good as the hype. It is the guitar that sits on the end of the couch. Plays good, great pups, already has a scratch or two so it isn't too pretty to knock around.

EVH 5150 III 100 watts version
best amp for the money right now on the used market
cleans are awesome, crunch is nice too and lead is smooth with liquid sustain
It plays well with all my cabs (Marshall, Mesa boogie, Thiele)

Byoc Marshall guv nor clone. I got very little gear this year, the gear budget was pretty dry for 2012 and 2013 is not looking much better. I would love a kemper, but I don't see being able to afford me anytime soon.

Glad to see others had a bountiful 2012. :)

Havent bought much this year so would have to say the Dual Recto that I got off Myliss. I have a D-moll coming and just getting ready to order some new Scumbacks for one of my cabs but that stuff won't be here until 2013... Still need a good quad of V30's in case anyone is selling some...

that tone you get at 1:36 or so is sick! do you have soap bars in that prs or is it just the tone of the guitar? sounds very kings x-ish. pm me the settings if you dont mind so i dont continue to hijack the thread....

Tell us about the 4-input Marshall and what is in that 4x12.

Stack is a '72 very slightly modded - just a master volume. I checked it before purchase, has all the mustard caps and such still there. I could put it back to stock by moving a few wires. Cabs in the stack are stock '72s - pulsonic cones, sound amazing.

Left Marshall is a bone stock '74 50 watt. Right one is a bone stock '70. All three have original transformers and rock, they just have a wide variance in tone - which is why I prefer doing kemper profiles of specific amps vs a 'VINTAGE MARSHALL' patch on a modelling amp. The 74 has more rounded highs, so it's great for leads. 72 has more gain than the others. 70 is in between the other two.

All three have their souls sucked into the Kemper, but I love tube amps and they aren't going anywhere for a good while if ever. The '70 especially, since it was 'born' same month and year as I was (jan 1970).

Pete
