You cannot suck if you own these. If you do you have no excuses.

They go a long way to demystifying Holdsworth’s approach to composition and soloing. They aren’t really “song books”, or a compendium of Holdsworth-Ian licks. The books, along with the series of interview videos on YouTube, with Brett Stine, by marbinmusic(link below), really opens the Holdsworth “mystery” up to being at least somewhat understandable.
