Played probably a couple of hundred LPs since I started playing. I had an '05 Standard Faded for a while that I thought was the best thing ever. While I was working in a music store, I was doing some bragging, saying I'd put it up against any Les Paul, any Custom Shop, and be confident that mine was better. So one day, I lined up all the Custom Shop LPs in the store, and went back and forth between them and my '05. In fact, I was right! My guitar kicked the crap out of every other that I tried...........until I got to the last one in the bunch: a somewhat beaten up R9 that was just perfect in every way. I had to have it, which was a problem since I was flat broke at the time. Ended up selling my old LP and a Suhr to afford the R9, and I haven't looked back since. The only thing I don't like about this guitar is the thought that I'm wearing the frets down on it quickly, because I play it nearly exclusively!

Usually the wine red LP. Unless I am feeling 80's hair metal. Then it's the SoCal.
