Your thoughts on the orange or15

I'm thinking about getting an or15. I was curious what you guys thought about it. Also do you think a mesa thiele cab would work well with it? I'm worried about bass a lack of bass response bu I dont want to go with a big 212 cab for home use since I'm only recording.
 
Search this forum for the orange Jim root, its pretty similar to the or15h.

I was going to go with an or15h, but ended up going with an attenuator for my existing masco amp to get those natural tube breakup sounds. The or15h doesn't really have a clean, so as long as dirt is what you want, I think you will be happy. The Mesa Thiele is a good cab and should give you a solid bass response.
 
Cool. Do you the the thiele would work better than the Jim roote cabinet?
 
The or15's bass is a bit loose so you may want to consider that with a theile.

Could you explain more what you means as far as how the two would react?
 
Theile cabs are ported. The port usually enhances the bass but it usually loosens it up a little. Having that on top of an amp with a looser bass feel may kill more tightness than you are going for.
 
I preferred the OR15 over the Dark Terror and the little JR head too.
 
I think its my fav out of the 4 they have.
