For high gain metal/hard rock tones in order:
Splawn Nitro EL34 w/ Quickrod midslope-sold to Kurtstuff. I'm a dumbass.
Rivera KR7- I have it. Fuck yeah
VHT Deliverance- I have it. Fuck yeah II
Soldano Avenger- sold it. dumbass II
Engl Invader 100- sold it to fund an Engl Morse, which sucked. Dumbass III
Cameron CCV100- I really enjoyed the feel of it it. Too bad he can't get his shit together. Really nice amp.
Diezel Einstein-sold it to Kurtstuff. Nice amp but overpriced. A real beast at high volumes.
VHT CL50- sounded better than the CL100 I had but the Deliverance is more modern tone.
Mesa Electradyne- great 80s tones. First Mesa to beat Marshall at their game.
Egnater Tourmaster- I love the feel and tone. It's not the best amp at high volumes but it's good enough for me if it was the only amp available to play.

8...Rocktron Pirahna
7...Crate G-160XL9old School)

Stuff I've played that absolutely blew my mind (owned or played):

1. Egnater Mod 50 (Bman, EG5) (Still the best tones I've ever heard, maybe it was that little room in the back of the old amp lounge???)
2. VHT Deliverance 120
3. GT Trio - VHT 2150
4. Egnater M4 - VHT 2150
5. Bogner Fish - VHT 2150

3. ADA MP-1 - stands up to preamps literally costing 15-20 times as much
