In alphabetical order, not in order of preference:

Duane Allman, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Alvin Lee, Jimmy Page, Django Reinhardt, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I'm sure I missed somebody, but that's the ones what first come to mind.

I was influenced by a lot of musicians. A lot of them guitar players. A lot of people I like I don't think of as a great guitar player.

Rock"n Chippy that video where he was playing with a giant pick. The pick was as big as a medium pizza. Now that was impressive.

Seriously?

Top ten guitarists…in which genre?

Are we talking strictly electric players? There are plenty of acoustic players out there, or those who play both, brilliantly.

It really makes me question what makes a great guitar player.

Seeing all the names mentioned and what effect they had on how I approach the instrument.

Music being art the emotional content is definitely for me the most important.

Then you have things like success. That could be measured many ways. Individuals that have impeccable technique.
Subjective taste in music styles is a other factor.
Impact on the international music scene. I'm sure there is more.
