For all the bitching I do about chugga lugging, I have to admit that you do it damn well. The amp and the Anderson sound the best for that type of riffing. I also like that Lickliter totally classed up the cosmetics on his amps. Looks great. I'll check the site for specs. I'm also not one for diode clipping unless it is in a pedal and sits in front of the box.

Thanks! 100% tube path 6-12AX7's and 4-EL-34's. I am completing the finishing touches on the new amp model that will be using this circuit with a few more options. I will post pics soon. I am having panels cut right now for my prototype of the new model!

Right on. I dig the 80s stuff too just not obsessed with it. I grew up during the late 80s and early 90s (teenage years) and as soon as I heard Cowboys From Hell in '90 I was like "Dokken who?"  Pretty much never looked back although I do enjoy it from time to time. :)

Yes, I know of Pantera's cock rock origins...everyone makes mistakes. :D

We're probably from the same demographic.. I loved Pantera's early stuff too as well as Megadeth's Rust In Peace which seriously for me, might be one of the top thrash (is it thrash?) albums of all time. Also loved that early Annihilator stuff. Riffing for days. I still listen to both genres but because of a lot of the lead work, I just dig the 80's stuff more.

I have a cassette of that era somewhere in my old stash. The band pic is amazing!

Those licks and tone starting at 3:06 are sexy. Twangy but still meaty. The rock shit towards the ende sounded really fucking good too. Killer playing as always Jason!

Thanks, Shea.

Love that crunch and cut from that amp.. what are the specs on it? Fine playing as well.... OH, and don't think we didn't hear you briefly bust out some Dokken either. It's not Love but it also ain't chuga lug so thumbs up from me! I would say that this demo answered my question on whether or not this amp can do RATT.. :P

Specs? I know it has EL34s, not sure how many preamp tubes as I didn't really look! I know there are NO clipping diodes which is a good thing, IMO. Could not care less about Jose overdone crap. :D

Has two channels, clean and dirty. Tube FX loop with send and return controls.

Branch out a bit and watch this vid. Has melodic playing in the middle section with a arpeggiated clean tone part in the background.

That sounds killer! Great playing, great tune and killer tone!
