So how does Zakky propose too copy the LPC and 800 he is known for?
Bugera and Agile?
Seems like a big mis step for a guy already on the cusp of being irrelevant.

I see Loyd...makes me think "should I chance every buying a Wylde, or will it turn out like that Choppers down payment scandal years back?"

Hmmmm...not quite sure about that move. I mean, he was getting the worlds best gear handed to him. Maybe this is a way to cut down on people stealing his stuff!

In all seriousness, we all know Zakk as a Gibson/Marshall guy, and has said so for years. He probably had enough of Gibson's bullshit since Henry Justkiewitz seems intent on ruining what makes Gibsons great, and won't even make the models/versions people want without a $8,000+ price tag. And Marshall won't make a decent JCM800/JMP for some reason.

If the Wylde gear sounds great, it will sell itself, but the few pics that are out there, I don't like their designs.

I agree with Rez, not sure if it will be Gibson/Marshall but I bet he will have a major brand with all the tooling in place sort of like EVH. If I had to put money on it, PRS.

One of the comments from his rep stated that "wylde gear" will be catered to the working guitarist as was he before his fame. Let's see the &'s on these. Have a feeling they will be along the lines of the EVH $899-$999
Guitar prices. That 100 head should be interesting though.. Excited to hear it.

His tone isn't worth chasing anymore
I agree that his tone has never been anything ive liked except for the No More Tears album. But i think thats got more to do with him more so than the gear. Even when he sounds his worst, the actual gear hes playing on is capible of alot better. Maybe this stuff will actually be good. Maybe we'll get a more high gain hot rodded 800 type tone for a good price. Or maybe we'll just get channel 2 of the 50watt with even more gain with a pinch harmonics button.

If they are counting on his fame to sell gear and drive profits, good luck. Outside of the hard rock world, not many people are going to care. Hell, I'm a classic rock/hard rock kind of guy and, outside of appreciating some of the things he's done, I don't care enough to want to buy branded gear. But, then again, I'm also not the kind of person that buys gear to mimic others. Personally, I'm sick of all of the "signature" gear made to pimp people that are, arguably, not that influential. To each their own - I'm sure he'll cash in somehow, so more power to him.

Yes, another comment was amps and guitars will be priced under 1K

After the documentary i watched about China, when i hear "affordable item", I cringe at the loss of employment here in manufacturing and continuing to support a regime that is at War with us economically. Well it would be a war but we surrendered already.

At that price point even China might be too pricey, probably went farther downstream to an even cheaper country.

Zakk Has Left Gibson And Marshall... and Gillette, Speed Stick, Head and Shoulders as well.

The amp will most likely be a JCM800 clone. Perhaps with a built-in chorus that cannot be turned off. Lol. He's so associated with the Les Paul, that I don't know how they're gonna pull that one off. That SG meets V guitar he's been playing lately is Horrendous looking. I'll stick to the gear that works for me now. :)
