Saw Zakk Sabbath 3 years ago... It was awesome ! Hell of a show !

Some great songs on that setlist - A National Acrobat, Into The Void, Lord Of This World, Behind The Wall Of Sleep, and NIB...hell yeah!

Seen them a few years ago and it was one of the coolest shows I've ever seen - a testament to the power of the songwriting that those 50 year old songs can be played live and still be the heaviest fucking thing you've ever heard. Seeing them again on Wednesday.

I love Zakk's interpretations of the songs. Supernaut, Snowblind, Lord of this World, Children of the Grave and A National Acrobat are played in Drop B instead of C# and it just makes them sound so massive.

I still think Randy's versions are the best ever. IMO Tribute is one of the best live albums ever.
Gillis did great at staying more true to original on the Speak Of The Devil versions.

I still really like No Rest For The Wicked for the ZW era, but I still wish the recording/mix was better.

I saw this show in my town last week, it was pretty freakin' good. :) The guitar was low in the mix though!!

They had an opener called The Native Howl, those guys were pretty awesome too. A mix of thrash metal & bluegrass.

Im gonna try to see zakk sabbath next month, im looking forward to it.

Hmm, I don't see any of the supreme Black Sabbath library on there, when Ronnie James Dio fronted them.
Yep, my band has helped out James Rivera a few times with his version and we did Children of the Sea, Neon Knights, Mob Rules, Heaven and Hell.
Awesome songs to play!

Seen em at “The Machine Shop” 500 capacity, blew the roof off the fuckin place! Sounded great!

I love children of the sea…me and some buddies actually did a sabbath tribute in college. We called ourselves jack sabbath and played one party. It was fun. Like 1990-91….

Good christian rock.

Black Sabbath was banned by my parents when I was 13. They also did not like Steppenwolf or Jimi Hendrix playing Star-Spangled Banner. I did my best to explain to them that the song “the pusher” was actually an anti-drug song, and Jimi Hendrix‘s version of our national anthem will probably be remembered as the greatest guitar only version for a long time.

This concert is really good to rip super loud on a Sunday morning. Thanks man ???

That audience is radiating enough divorced-Facebook-dad-energy to power New Jersey for a month.
