Zerrer Clips incl. direct

1) in front of an amp (like a pedal) vs. as a preamp (Randall RT2/50)

2) tube preamp vs. Diezel Zerrer

3) direct into Zerrer (Strat, LP) then MOTU 4Pre then Logic.
Added Dly and Rev.
Clean from channel 1, lead channel 2 (lots of mids!!!) and crunchy from channel 1 (mids dropped).

Just to give you an impression what this unit is able to do . . .

It's just my 3 Channel Midi Tubepreamp, yes.

I've recorded a V30 at low volume.

What I like the most about the Zerrer is that it sounds like a tube amp. It even feels like one, completely different than units like AxeFX or Digi GSP (which I've owend in the past).

For those looking for a recording/practicing solution: you can still run from the "send" into IR Files or Torpedo WoS or Torpedo cab. I will try to record the compensated out tonight.

Sorry that I can't "do" metal or play/record like Pete Thorn. And for those who probably might think it sounds to "mellow" - well I like the SM57 angled, which makes a huge part of mellowing the sound. Thats caused by my age - I cannot stand too much treble anymore.

I would want to mix it with my macbook though an Apogee Duet to jam to some songs fra Spotify. Or else I have no use for it.
