So, here it is, the new Jerry Cantrell signature Friedman JJ100:








































My initial impression: I love it. It's simple. Great clean channel. Great drive channel with two levels of gain. The felt pads on the rubber feet are a bonus!
I was under the impression that you could footswitch between the two levels of gain. I had read it from a couple of folks on forums, and the dealer I bought it from said that he thought it came with a 2-button footswitch. No such luck. I think the JBE mode would need it's own master volume if it were footswitchable, because it does decrease the volume a good bit.
Man, this thing sounds awesome. :rock:

Indeed, Christmas came early.
I was having major GAS as well. Had to do something about it as soon as the clips started coming out. Love it.
 
This is one of the best amp purchases that I have ever had.

I have not even cracked it open to look inside of it.

also have not even had the urge to try my usual pre amp tube swap tests.

Every time I turn it on, I just up playing it.......

Thanks man! I'm hearing the best out of many amps in this thing. It reminds me of a Bogner (Shiva, XTC red), Orange Rockerverb, 5150, without any of the drawbacks. The wah is the Crybaby Classic.

G&L Legacy, Bogner OS2x12, SM57 plugged into an Apogee Duet, into a Macbook Pro using Garageband.
