How would you describe the sound of KT77's? Do you prefer them?

I wasn't thinking of doing it for the extra power, but I like the sound of a quad set of tubes when the volume is up. Have you tried KT77's in the Renegade yet?

If I only want to use the 6L6 or EL34 side of the blend knob, could I replace the tubes with a quad of the same type? Like run all 6L6's or all EL34's?

I haven't yet played the Twin Jet, but I had a revision blue and it was fucking incredible. It's a really great amp. I also had a 20th anniversary Shiva which came out about the same time as the Twin Jet, and it's an amazing amp for sure. The Twin Jet has got to be awesome too.
