Have you ever noticed that a lot of TV broadcasts with live bands sound really horrendous?
Not a performance issue as such, but more a case of engineering coming before art.
It's almost as if some of the engineers have taken great pride in achieving separation of everything, and then making...

Recorded with a PRS Custom 24 through the Brunetti 059, Telecaster through a Plexi and a LP through a Dr Z Carmen Ghia.
Let me know what you think.
Enjoy
I have been made aware of the fact that some people get their cars wrapped in a vinyl like material.. Whether it's for artistic reasons, protection, or just a colour change... But it seems like a good idea to mod your car in a way that's reversible.
So, has anyone seen the same thing available...
Wow!!!!
One of the nicest guitars I have ever played... This is a keeper for sure.
It had 9s on it, but went and had it adjusted to 11s, and now it's just the way I like it. Tension, smoothness. So damn awesome.
Also had the trem block installed, which is so useful.
If you get the chance...
Went to a store today that I knew had the Silencer in stock. Wanted to try it just to make sure... Anyway, it was plugged into a Marshall 1987x (MK II). It was a red one. Don't know if its any different. It had a loop and voltage selector on the back.
I kinda regret not giving it a full run...
Thinking about taking the plunge and going down the Axe FX II route. Seems like a solid piece of gear.
Question... Can you use external pedals if yoy want? I am thinking mostly about a wah pedal in front of it. Or are there simulations that you control with an expression pedal?
First off, I have no experience with either of them.
I am just doing some research on the best option for a live rig. I want a fully produced sound we can take anywhere.
Guitar wise, I want something that will sound great at any volume, and can be put through the PA with the rest of the band...
Went to GC here in Nashville and played a James Trussart Deluxe Steelcaster Hollowbody. Can't afford to take it home.
Does anyone wanna buy my soul? Need about 3.600 ASAP.
I also have a real nice pair of snake boots, some decent jeans, a red Mustang Convertible that I rented... 34 Bud Lights...
Hey!
I have booked my tickets to come and see Nashville in November (I know... it's quite a while off...), and would very much appreciate some insight in to what to do, where to listen to some good music, etc.
Basically, I am there to soak it all in, and hopefully meet some good people along...
First off, thanks for doing this.
Do you find that people have labelled you as a heavy metal player, and if so, do you feel it inhibits a possible move into other genres of guitar playing in your future career? (Should you be so inclined, of course)
Thanks.
Kasper Jensen.
My vote goes to:
Sympathy Of The Devil - The Rolling Stones
Usually I can connect on some level to damn near anything.
I love the Stones.
But that particular solo just... I don't know. Not a fan of the tone anyway.
I have no issue with the sound. It does what it's supposed to.
But why are there so many things wrong with it?
The In and Out jack slots are the wrong way around. It only operates on batteries. It's massive for no apparent reason. From what I can gather the rear plate has to screwed on a...
Just curious.
And how did it feel?
Was there something incredible about it to you? Does it feel anything like a modern Standard LP?
I am not so much asking about the price and it's value... More an opinion on them taking money out of the equation.
I changed to 11 gauge on my PRS and it made a huge difference. Mostly to how it plays. And I have some long sessions with that guitar now.
Yesterday I got the LP bug when I saw that 54 video, so cleaned up and restringed my LP (10's). MAN did it feel wrong. So light and flimsy.
Went back to...

Paired with a Ground Control Pro or something like that?
Oh... Not that one would need to, but does it sound good plugging in a Wah to the front end? Or a boost?
