Anyone have experience with both these amps? How do they compare? On a more specific note, is the output transformer of the FB100 significantly larger than the tiny tic-tac case sized one on the FB60?

You can feel the heat off my 6xKT88 loaded herbert from like 2-3 feet away. This normal :scared: It's like a damn space heater :lol: :LOL:

Absolutely fantastic. These tubes are amazing. I replaced the SED 6550s that were in there. I instantly noticed the amp took on a darker, even more "hi-fi" character. It smoothed off and rounded off the high end, so I guess some people would consider that a loss of aggression, but for my tastes...

I just don't hear it.... what do you guys call low? I noticed the sweep spot on mine is with ch vol, master, and mid cut level all on noon. When I bring it down to more household friendly levels (which I never use anyways), it sounds a bit fuzzy with a lot of what appears to be background white...

Are these available through Diezel, or do people just retolex their headshells white? They look pretty cool and I'd be interested in buying them through Diezel if they sell them. Thanks

Hey guys. If I leave my amp in standby for more than about 5 seconds before I power it off, I hear a very faint thud/pop coming out of the speakers. It doesn't do this really when I just leave it on for 1-3 seconds before powering down. I'm guessing it's caps discharging, but I just want to make...
