I can mix in a bit of the on-axis mic. That would add grit. I was going by memory as far as the recording goes.

BTW...the BB Preamp and the Varidrive are great pedals together or by themselves for driving a clean amp....I'm a happy boy.
If I put the BB after the Varidrive it's really chewy...though I'm using it before the Varidrive right now...it's a brilliant boost for it.![]()
