Yea, you equate your dislike of an instrument to someone's sexuality, you're going to have a bad time. That's not a differing opinion, that's against the policy of the board (/most boards). Why would you be surprised?

If you go there to talk gear you'll be fine. There are some real knowledgeable and cool people there. If you go into the other areas (pub) and roll around in the mud with some of the fuckheads who are only there to mix it up,your not going to last. The Gear Page is only political if you want it to be. Both Rig Talk and TGP are really good forums IMO. Personally never had any issues here or on TGP. Love both.

Big Mike is a pretty big dude but you may be also . I’ve never conversed with him at TGP but I bought a speaker from him in person and he was a really good guy

Pretty much says exactly what I came in here to say.

I don't roll with the crowd over at TGP, musical tastes don't align with mine. Rig Talk has always been more of a high gain/modded marshall type of forum. Huge Racks for fridge rigs, TGP for vintage and recording, etc. etc. you get the idea.

There are a lot of people that left harmony central and flocked over to rig-talk and TGP. That's why there's still a residual joke-forum called HCAF here because the ones that left were looking to start trouble and not follow directions. So Brad made a subforum for them to bitch and moan about their migration.

Follow directions, don't start shit, and there isn't a problem to be had.
