Try running the Master 1 at about 4-5, Lead drive to taste, and sneak up on the desired volume with the Lead Master. I seem to get a little thicker sound that way with mine. It won't channel switch to the Rhythm channel without blowing your head off, but for a one trick pony, it works for me. These amps are all about compromise if you want to channel switch and they have an awesome clean channel, and in between, for damn sure. that is why you need more than one and an amp switcher. I don't even look at new release amps these days, I love the way the C+ captures the true tone of each guitar. It does not lie. Love it or hate it.

Exactly how I set mine. Clean is fantastic; but who needs a clean channel? I have a 65 Bassman for that.

Big congrats!! One of the best amps ever made. Now you don’t need to think or remember anymore those amps you used to have like the Peavey XXX and others. Good luck finding another amp that’ll still sound good next to it lol. You’ve officially been pulled out of the high gain amp Matrix
haha thx a lot dude, but to be honest I really love the peavey stuff as they are cheap and they sound really good for the heavy stuff! :)

That's awesome. I bought a Mark IIC I'm hoping to have converted, and honestly also was kind of psyched that it was also made in the same month and year I was born in :D
Haha so u
Awesome! Congrats!

SRG's are awesome. Plenty of power and the A/B circuit with just two tubes
let's it run cooler than a 100W or Simulclass.
Nice to hear that! I haven't played another mark 2C+!

Exactly! This is how I used to run my mark 3 blue stripe. Also, when the master is pulled the tone becomes fatter and thicker, but I have to lower the eq
