Here are some of mine not in any particular order but I feel these bands have staying power due to the material written/performed. I caught a concert video the other night from 2013 Soundgarden and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I know Soudgarden's guitars are not big solo's but the riffs and song structures/vocal were massive and just hit like a ton of bricks.......

My absolute favorite though........................

Alice In Chains
Soundgarden
King's X
Rage against the Machine
Badlands
Stone Temple Pilots

I thought that last album Soundgarden put out was pretty awesome. I don’t listen to much 90’s music these days, but if I do:

AIC
Temple of the Dog
Mad Season
Mother Love Bone
King’s X
Stone Temple Pilots
Candelbox
Cry of Love
Hum
Pearl Jam

The late 90’s sucked for rock. Total wasteland. Not much after 95. The early 90’s were awesome. That period right when there was overlap of late 80’s hair metal/hard rock and grunge was pretty exciting.

So true! Looking back, even though I graduated from high school in 85, man the early 90's were really awesome all the way around and was probably the best period of my life so far.

Here's the King Karma I am talking about. Came out in 2003 but there is strong 90s vibe IMO.

For you droptune guys hows this????????? This song is guttural and just drives............................................

Saigon Kick

Excellent first album. Saw them open for King's X and they were the real deal.
Should have been bigger. I'm gonna go with some albums.

King's X - Dogman
Pain of Salvation - One Hour by the Concrete Lake
Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
AIC - Dirt
Prong - Cleansing
Devin Townsend - Ocean Machine
Voivod - Angel Rat
