Finally got this thing delivered to my house after FedEx had it sitting 5 miles away for 4 days. I have to say that it sounds even better than I was expecting and I actually was kind of expecting a lot. I have a thing for single channel 50 watt amps. This thing gets me lots of tones I like to play around with and more importantly, it gets that core tone that I like as a basis for just about everything. So yeah, pretty happy with it.

This first clip is the most recent that I recorded this morning. I didn't discover the push/pull feature on the Gain B knob until late last night and that' why I didn't include it in the first two video clips I did yesterday. So this one is in drop B using a SM57 in front of a Sheffield 1200 speaker. Mic goes into my iRig Pre HD and straight into my iPhone. I used my cheap First Act guitar with a PAFish low output HB. I turn on a Boss SD-1 a couple of times in this one.

here is the one I did yesterday. The Gain B push pull knob is pushed in the whole time.

I watched all of these before work today. I'm hoping to get a skeleton key but my bank account is telling me I should have got an origin.

I think Marshall should give Shea and Burger a cut of the recent origin sales. Hit me up when you decide to sell this one ;)

Troutdale, Oregon? Every FedEx package from east of WA seems to go through there and go into a black hole for multiple days for me.

I really dig my Monomyth Origin as well, best amp purchase I’ve made in quite a while. Nice clips - but you always are posting good ones (y)

Well shit, thanks for finding the push pull easter egg ? I just spent the last hour finding new tones!
Haha! No joke man, I was laying in bed last night and my amp is right next it it I I remembered that my last Monomyth had a push pull knob. So I gave my amp a little reach around action and pulled on the knobs and Bam! Jackpot. Had to wait until morning to try it though.

So after spending some more time with it today and messing with all the controls, I gotta say this might be my favorite amp to date. The core tone is kinda everything I love about the blue channel of my EL34 EVH 50 watt (C137 mod). It has the beef and gritty crunch I like. Set with the gain a little lower it loves a boost much like my EVH Blue channel. But then it can do so much more for a single channel amp. Cleans up great with my guitar volume knob too.
I will say it's not the loudest 50 watter I've played, but it doesn't fall apart with the master up at 3:00 either. Running through my two 4x12's sounds pretty fucking bad ass.

Saw these videos post when they were released and immediately listened. Sounds killer! Grats on the NAD.

This really sounds great!
Is the amp still footswitchable after the mods by Monomyth?

If only I could find a steal on a stock model I would get one myself. These sound screamin
