I swear I would’ve known that was Reza if it was just the audio posted. His lows and mids always sound bloated
 
A lot of guys around here don’t like Reza because he’s one of those guys who thinks his shit doesn’t stink. His ears are golden and yours are crap. He’s incapable of taking constructive criticism, or he was when he was here.
I think he’s a good player and enjoyed his videos. But he’s got a massive ego. That video he did not long ago of his custom ESP Kamikaze, haven’t drooled over a guitar like that in awhile. On the tone here, it’s cool, but now it sounds like a 5150. The SLO is supposed to be squishy on the bottom, not super tight. If I were playing this type of metal, I’d just use a 5150 but I think those amps are better for chugging metal than SLOs. I would also like to hear him play something less frantic. Would like to hear the other channel as well, but that’s nitpicking. It’s a good video, overall.

It’s funny…I think he’s a very good player when playing rock oriented stuff, as well as blusier, clean and lead oriented things. Cannot stand his caveman drop D chug fests. That sounds like a player with 6 months experience. I get that amp demos are best served playing simple things but geez, play something remotely interesting! Like he does with the aforementioned other styles! I’m sure if he reads this he’d only focus on the criticism and not the compliment. Well, fuck you (him) too.

The guy is unbelievably worse than he ever was. After all, he has his own forum now where he loves being revered in internet land and, (and i quote) “ he’s done more for people than I ever will be able to do.” I got a real kick out of that. reza prides himself on how much he’s “helped people with gear” ( whatever the fuck that means) as if he’s some kind of saint for that. Or as if people can’t read and learn on their own, kinda like most of us do. Meanwhile I’ve delivered 15 children, and help completely helpless strangers everyday when they call 911 but HEY, reza let me know who the real difference maker in the world was, and it was HIM buddy. Because he hangs out with reinhold Bogner too! ( can you imagine the weirdness that goes on between those two?)

He’s gotta be the most hard headed prick I’ve ever had the displeasure to speak with in my entire life. I made a clip once showing the difference between the 6534 and the 5150, and while they were small to the average listener, a world class engineer and producer took his time to explain to that forum why those little things can be crucial in a mix, why they matter etc. how el34s have extended sub lows etc, transient response beteeen the two etc. stuff you don’t read on YouTube or whatever. But noooo, reza had to argue and show his ass and demand he be listened to, and why this was stupid, and they sound the same because Dave Friedman said they sound the same. Well guess what, i don’t give a shit about what Dave Friedman thinks when it comes to engineering and mixing records. Yea. I just said that. That’s not his expertise.What a great thread that was. Reza was in full douchebag in moms basement form to the max, still is apparently.


But anyways, I definitely love hating on this clown anytime I get the opportunity to, it’s a cheap thrill, sue me!

Why would you take a mid rich amp structure like my Slo 100 has and turn the bass up and mids down THEN turn the depth down and presence up????

It seems as though your Ego is about the same size based on this post and other posts i've seen by you. Real Heros Move in Silence otherwise it just comes off as chest beating Ego nonsense. Are you a Better Engineer than Reza? I've heard your work and you're really really good. Let your work speak for itself ratrher than seeking Validation all the time.

He has literal spies that report on R/T threads that mention him, last time I participated, I got a Facebook message from him "calling me out for talking shit" when he was "gracious enough to allow me in his Facebook group" (that I didn't know he ran)

Prepare for a "wow bro, why would you hurt me like that" Facebook message @VESmedic ??

Every YouTube channel makes all amps on their channel sound same I completely agree . Their signal chain colors all amps to sound so close . Fr this is the biggest grip on amp channels . Not their fault probably . It’s unavoidable I guess

About the same size? That’s alittle… harsh. Reza and I have zero in common. I seek validation because I am NEW and DONT know certain things, and want to progress. I think that’s what anyone new does if they like something. I also don’t do anything related to music for a living, nor do I plan to, so I’m no “engineer”, nor have I ever claimed to be anything but what I am ever. Reza talks down and is condescending almost to a fault, if I disagree with someone there is dialogue and conversation about it. that’s the whole point of these boards, or Atleast used to be, before everyone was afraid of confrontation.
