Yeah, private sector. It’s not near as glamorous as it sounds. I work deliverable documentation for software and integration engineers. I used to be an English teacher.

I'm the operations guy and co-owner at an employee-owned cooperative that sells specialty high performance car parts for Mazda Miatas. Started there 17 years ago as an ECU calibrator and worked my way up.

Chief Operating Officer for a community hospital.
Transitioned to the IT field this past year after getting my BS undergrad. I manage all the labs and classroom technology at a university along with other random help desk stuff that comes along. The people are great and it’s a nice atmosphere.
I also do freelance photography - won a couple of AP awards when working with a local newspaper. Mostly do weddings and corporate stuff now since that’s where the $ is.
I’d rather be playing guitar so that’s why I’m in a couple of bands too. Occasionally I sleep.

Yeah, pretty much. I think that’s around 55 floors on Illinois St. downtown. Highest I’ve been up is around 80. After 3 it really doesn’t matter, if you fall you’re a goner. lol
180’ straight up in a lift can be a real lonely, eerie place. Hahaha!!! Good times!
