I had a reverse headstock Diablo, in amber. Just a beautiful looking and playing guitar. Unfortunately I couldn't deal with the neck pickup placement. Had a reverse headstock Centaura with the bowling ball finish and again, amazing guitar and that one I shouldn't have let go.

Further one of the best guitars I ever played was the Californian. Was a great USA brand.

I owned this USA Diablo Limited and USA Centaura in the past; both phenomenal guitars (especially the Centaura) but I always ended up reaching for my Cali anyway so I eventually sold them off.

Still own my Cali which I'll never sell

I had the exact guitar/finish on the Centaura. Went to a used guitar show before covid hit and some store a had a Centaura in sparkle black, pretty cheap at the time. Just about bought it.

Man I tried hard to get a Cali. I can still picture it, boomerang inlays, Amber finish. Played it at some music store in Atlanta back in the day. Just didn't have the coin at the time, when I finally did it was long gone.

Yeah the prices on Calis these days are completely nuts. Even one that's literally falling apart and in need of a rebuild goes for about a thousand bucks.

I managed to score mine for $420 but that was decades ago

I had a Chapparal with boomerangs. What a dog.

I've still got my Diablo USA reverse.

Beat to hell. I wore that thing out on the road in my 20s. I haven't even tried to play it in 20 years.
