Hello Helios - new amp day

Want. One. Had a helios 50 and still have mixed feelings over letting it go. Modern setting, dimed, punch and bottom wound up, it was early VH for days. Can’t imagine that with the extra headroom and ‘girth’ of the 100. Congrats!!!

Yup, looking at the circuit, that's basically what it is. It's an Angry Brown Eye; maybe a bit inflamed. Better see a doctor.

I'm digging the 50-watter I recently picked up. Although it is quite noisy (radio stations).

Congrats! I have had both the 50 and the 100. Killer tones on tap, but a bit noisy( not unlike many if not most vintage amps).
