Guitar Max gets his own signature guitar

I've seen a few of his vids, he's a likable fella and his playing though not great, is leaps and bounds better than it was when he started his channel. He also does look like Fabio or a better and in shape young Danzig but that's his appeal.

I think the guitar looks pretty good actually. Love the H-S. Will have to see what the specs are later. Real floyd or china junk?

Their description is funny, " guitar virtuoso".. the guy just learned how to play 3 notes per string not too long ago. He's not Tim Henson yet:

The Guitar MAX Fusion Signature model is the result of our working closely with guitar virtuoso Max, of the Guitar MAX YouTube channel

I like how they call it an original Floyd Rose tremolo....note the lowercase "o", but the spec sheet lists it as a Floyd Rose 1000. While the 1000 is a great tremolo, it's not an Original Floyd Rose. I find the description misleading for people who may not be as well versed in guitar specs or parts, brand names and their level of quality, etc. Still, looks like a lot of guitar for $444.

@thegame dude, how do you keep coming up with this stuff?

As I've always said, your timing and delivery are impeccable. Dare I say... virtuoso.

Indeed, I kind of follow the cheap guitar and bass scene too bro', but at-a-distance, just-in-case, you know?

Always felt I could use a cheap geetar and bass for practice so as not to "wear out" the "recording" models' strings.

Noticed HB for some years now; they really do seem to make great instruments for the price. Same goes for the cheap Music Man basses.

I asked about the Floyd 'cause I'm lazy and have painful memories when it comes to string changes. I like to do it fast.
Aren’t serial guitars from any major brand “cheap” enough not to care about wearing them out? All in all, it’s just a serial one. I always thought if I ever start doing gigs, I will buy a serial ESP/Jackson/Ibanez not to blemish the fancy ones.

I mean who cares that much about a serial anyways.

Yeah, they're cheap-enough, but I get the strong feeling some of the manufacturers who specialise in producing budget stuff actually manage to deliver better quality at the same price or less, and that play well.

That said, you might've noticed that I mentioned the cheap Music Man bass alternatives. EB's budget-bass line contains some top-notch models IMHO.

What I noticed around the years, it is a lottery with serial guitars be it cheaper or pricier ones.
More ao in cheaper ones.

But you guys have much more oppurtunities to check something out physically before buying, unlike we in small distant countries don’t.

It's made out of Nyatoh.

Nyatoh (often referred to as nato or “eastern mahogany”) is an affordable tonewood with a relatively bland tonal characteristic compared to real mahogany. Its low price and medium density, and hardness make it a great choice for bodies and necks of lower-end electric, acoustic and bass guitars.

Nyatoh is also met on Ibanezs a lot recently.

I wouldn't assume this mate, but on-the-whole, you're probably-right.

I for instance have no cheap means of getting around and therefore walk everywhere. No Music stores anywhere near me, so for many years I've had to research my ass off and take the risk of buying "blind".

You are not alone mate.

I recently got a HH Fusion with a Wilkinson Trem. Honestly, for $300 shipped, it is amazing. Stainless steel frets, locking tuners, name brand trem, etc... I had to spend some time setting it up when I first got it, but it plays extremely well, and the pickups arent really bad considering the price. Now I am thinking about buying more HBs, lol.

I can't remember the last time I purchased music gear from a store; I usually buy new and used gear online. I've only returned one guitar because it was severely damaged during shipping. I try to do my research before buying, but online music stores usually have good return policies on new gear; I've also purchased several used guitars from these stores too, and they were as described, and I didn't return them.
