it's our tax money in the first place.
When you say OUR do you mean yours and mine collectively?
it's our tax money in the first place.
Holy shit. There’s hope for you.we already have socialism; just most of that money goes to corporations, oligarchs and our ruling parasites. - corporate welfare and pandering - that's actually closer to fascism not socialism.
it's our tax money in the first place - from Americans; that should be going to help the American people - and it's not.
yes, social programs that help the American people, whether you call it socialism or not, is a good thing. IMO
well if we tried a conversation instead of vitriolic hits, who knows?Holy shit. There’s hope for you.
yes, any American citizen paying taxes. it's our money; our ruling parasites do what they want with it and ignore what American citizens want and need. When you say OUR do you mean yours and mine collectively?
Trump is only one of many who need to be held accountable.
we'll see. If there's evidence of Biden family corruption/bribery for example; the list of shell companies used to launder money, etc. should be enough to support an actual investigation. Why did the FBI withold documents from Congress? And I believe he will be.
Ford should have never pardoned Nixon. Was a really bad move in hindsight.
yes, any American citizen paying taxes.
I mean how many American citizens want our taxes to go to Israel, Syria, Egypt, Ukraine, etc.
I don't know. Why did the FBI withhold documents from Congress?
that's just it; our ruling parasites ignore the will of the people with impunity. They do what they want which often turns out to be something that enriches their donors and themselves.I'm going to play ridiculous devil's advocate here so bear with me:
Approx. 200 million individual people paid taxes in 2022.
The amounts paid varied ridiculously.
Who gets to say where and how the tax revenue is spent?
Who decides how big a slice will go towards US infrastructure? Defense? R & D? Medicine? etc.
Who decides if everyone paid enough/too much/too little taxes for the year?
Ooops, meant to go on but I got a dog that needs a lawn right now.
not sure, last I heard they were going to hold Wray in contempt of Congress; maybe that's out of date?I don't know.
D you know that the FBI invited Comer and other members of congress over to read the documents in a secure location?
And that after reading them Comer dropped his contempt charges against the FBI and Wray?
that's just it; our ruling parasites ignore the will of the people with impunity. They do what they want which often turns out to be something that enriches their donors and themselves.
I forget the source of this, and it was pre-pandemic, but it's an example of what I'm talking about:
In the last 5 years alone, the 200 most politically active companies in the U.S. spent $5.8 billion influencing our government with lobbying and campaign contributions.
In return, those same companies received $4.4 trillion in taxpayer support from our "elected" ruling parasites – earning a return of 750 times their investment.
Just imagine the access and influence of these 200 companies on our "elected" politicians.
Still think the vote of average Americans counts?
a lot more money going everywhere than just Israel...that money could make a difference at home for many Americans IMOYou could’ve stopped at Israel.
not sure, last I heard they were going to hold Wray in contempt of Congress; maybe that's out of date?
true in all cases; it's not always easy to find out what our elected officials are actually doing, and where they get their donations...more missing transparency. You should take a closer look at the politicians you support and their stance on the “Citizens United” scotus ruling.
Absolutely. But we’ve been sending them checks steadily since their founding. Like child support. It’s not the same thing. The others are the equivalent of giving spare change to a needy person.a lot more money going everywhere than just Israel...that money could make a difference at home for many Americans IMO

then we often have 2-3 choices to elect, and usually decide who based who is not the worst rather who is best.
Talking like a realist IMO.Their votes in Congress are public record. I suggest everyone look at that. I sure as hell do.
We definitely need to have 100% transparency regarding who’s donating to whom and who’s behind what.
Also, I don’t want to scare you or anything, but you’re talking like a libtard.
Potato - PotatoTalking like a realist IMO.![]()
I also don't think most (many) Americans take the time to understand what their representatives are actually doing beyond what they hear/see/read in the legacy media. The uninformed and misinformed are the majority, unfortunately. Why there's little accountability in government.Potato - Potato
